CUSA’s Unit Share Ratio
Does anyone know how CUSA splits the revenue units for the NCAA Tournament? My rooting interest is more for the financial aspect of the tournament. We could certainly use an additional revenue stream with all of the capital outlays coming up.

Base plus wins in the NCAA Tournament . I don't think it can be calculated yet.

RE: CUSA’s Unit Share Ratio
+/-282K/yr for 6 years (1.7 mill total) to the conference for each tourney game played.

If they're like most others, CUSA divides this amongst all schools, so $20K/yr/school for each game from 2013-2018 (UNLESS we don't get payments for years prior to our admission to CUSA). Payout for this year's games will be awarded beginning next year.

So there would be no additional benefit for those teams that qualify for the tournament, versus those that don’t?

So the short answer is it's up to each conference, but yes usually it just gets split up evenly across all schools.

Longer answer, read here if you want more detail on how it works: https://www.sbnation.com/college-basketb...every-year
