And besides all that, he takes home a check for 1.4M. It’s a career making week. He goes from a borderline tour pro to one with a lot of job security. And money. Lots of money.

Think the 2 years don't start until after this year so exempt through 2021. They mentioned 2.5 years in the post round interview. I never met Corey but seems like a humble class act all around.

Don't look now, but Corey is having a nice little day at -3 (15).

Another good round: 1-under 71 to reach the halfway point at -3. That's tied for 16th, but only four shots back of the lead at the moment. There are only a couple of players on the course left who could stretch the lead to -8 or better.

Conners continues to play very solid golf in Augusta and is tied for 22nd.

Chase Johnson is having a much better second Latinoamerica Tour event and is currently tied for 6th going into the final round.

Very steady golf from Corey this week. He shot a 1-under 71 again today to be tied for 22nd place at -4.

Corey Conners is +2 through 10 holes today, -2 for the tournament.

MacKenzie Hughes finished @ -5 and in tied for 42nd in last weekends Valero Open that Conners won.

Ryan Yip has missed 5 cuts and made 2 cuts thus far on the web.com tour.

John Hahn has hung up the pro golfing career and now works for Goldman Sachs in West Palm Beach FL.

Not sure if Ian Holt and Taylor Pendrith will play on the MacKenzie Tour this year or not. I think it starts in May.

Connors finishes the Masters at even par. Quite a two week stretch for Corey to go from a Monday qualifier and no definite idea where he’ll play in April to a tourney winner, a spot in the Masters, and an even par finish. Dreams come true.

Yes, but you failed to give the Latinoamerica Tour results, where Chase Johnson did not have a great day and finished tied for 20th.

Goflashes, thanks for the update on John Hahn. I felt like he was good enough to make a run at the PGA, but if he finds a career direction he's happy with, good for him. I don't know what's going on with Ian Holt because he should be playing in the web.com tour and isn't. Anyone got anything there?

Chase shot an even par 72 and finished tied for 16th, and it was his first pro cut made, so that’s a good week.
04-cheers

I wonder if they had a mistake on Johnson's card, because I swear he was T20 the day of the tournament.

KSU Golf and the Chase Johnson Tracker account tweeted that he finished 13th, so go figure.

The PGA site still has it 16th so I guess that’s official.

Down in Hilton Head, Mac Hughes opened with an even par round, Connors shot +3.

At the S. American Tour, Chase Johnson shot an opening 3-under and the Web.com Tour (Ryan Yip -1 in rd. 1) is delayed due to weather.

Corey Connors shoots an opening round 73 at the PGA Championship.

Chase Johnson shoots a first round -6 66 and sits one shot back in Montevideo Bay, Jamaica on the PGA Tour Latinoamerica.

Holt and Yip both open with even par rounds on the Web.com Tour in Knoxville and sit well back of the lead.

Any idea on why Ian Holt missed half of the web.com season?

RE: Kent golfers in the pros - 2019 Edition
Mac Hughes shoots 5-under today and is 7-under for the week and now sits in second place at the Colonial in Ft. Worth. I think that means he will be in the last group with the leader Kevin Na (-9) tomorrow since he finished before the other two who are tied for at -7: Spieth and Furyk.

Chase Johnson missed the cut in Tijuana this weekend.

I didn't see any of our guys in the Web.com event this week, but I could have missed someone.

Holt and Pendrith are playing in Vancouver on the Mackenzie Tour and sit in 29th and 48th place respectively.

Mac Hughes finished in a tie for 8th, won $197K.

In Canada, Holt finished 24th, Pendrith 34th.

FYI, Ryan Yip, Corey Conners and Mackenzie Hughes are all in action in the Great White North (I mean, RBC Canadian) Open.

Hughes is off to a fast start and is currently tied for 4th.
