RE: Notre Dame vindicated?
Saw this tweet, which sort of even surprised me a bit.

Not a bad couple of years for Brian Kelly coming off that 4-8 2016 season.

From Notre Dame's SID, Michael Bertsch:

@NDsidBertschy

Most ND Wins Over Any Two-Year Span

1988-89: 24

2017-18: 22

1992-93: 21

1989-90: 21

1973-74: 21

Notre Dame went 22-4 (.846) over the last 2 years -- 4th-best among the Power-5.

Here's where the Irish rank among the Power-5 in other categories since 2017:

Final AP Top-25 Wins - 7 (t-4th)

AP Top-25 Wins - 7 (t-4th)

FBS Wins - 22 (5th)

Power 5 Wins - 17 (5th)

Yep the way Bama was manhandled by Clemson, all the ACC $H@@ talking can stop! I am not sure anyone would have been a match for Clemson...
However does anyone else find it interesting that The last coach to beat Alabama by 16+ was Nick Saban at LSU...
Dabo to Bama when Nick calls for the Golf Clubs.... That is just the way it will be!!

Notre Dame and Ohio State both only lost one game this year. But Notre Dame is 28 points to Clemson and Ohio State is 29 points to Purdue. Which team is better?

Totally agree. Ohio State getting run by Purdue, who was an average team at best, keep them out of the top 4 for me. Purdue got boat raced by Auburn in their bowl, and lost to EASTERN FREAKIN MICHIGAN.

1 Clemson
2 Alabama
3 Oklahoma
4 Notre Dame
