Great win. Two options going forward:
1. Play like this the rest of the season and you'll change a lot of minds including mine.
2. Show that this game and the Radford ones were flukes. Cant blame the fans for defaulting to this option.
Regardless very solid win and hopefully we can carry this momentum through next week

Fluke. But congrats to Rowe and the Dukes. Huge win over a great team. We took advantage of being a trap game and were hot from 3 pt range. I don't expect this to be a trend...

Take Lewis off the point and continue having Banks as a primary option. Mosley and Banks are the team's best players, not Lewis (he's a complementary player). A disastrous stretch in the second half, but hung on and I will congratulate them on the great win!

Richard from CofC looked like a young Michael Jordan today...very impressive.

8 man rotation now. Jacobs 0 minutes after logging 8,5,7,5 in his last 4 games. Didn't provide much with minutes prior to that vs Mason, Radford, ODU and Coppin State.
Dukes are ride or die with their starters. Scoring 87% of the points vs UNCW and 95% v COC tonight.
Jones did well in his 17 minutes at least with a +17 tonight, even though he again provided nothing else stat sheet wise (1 block, 2 rebounds). That is not necessarily a bad thing, but we've seen what happens when the starters fail to get going in the scoring column (Fordham, ODU for example)

A big upset win for the Dukes and I think it is the best win in Louis Rowe’s 3 years.
The Dukes lit it up on offense in the first half and ended up having 4 players in double figures for the game. Very good balance and sharing of the ball.

An outstanding win! I just checked the news because I was busy and just assumed we'd stink it up today after a double OT loss, and the fact COC is a quality team.
So, a tip of the hat to the team today. I agree it may be the best win of Rowe's career...even better than the earlier win this season against Radford because it is a conference win.
That said, JMU would have to pretty much run the table, and either make the NCAAT or NIT for me to reward LR with another year.

Just got back. Terrific win for the entire team today. Very happy for Coach Rowe, the staff and especially the players. The Good Guys are now 5-2 at home and the 2 losses were in OT & 2OT. And, a tip of the cap to the fans that showed as well.
It's tough to watch at times (OK, a lot of the time), but still rooting for the guys. Hopefully, they can and will bottle up this win today and build on it. I've said that more than once over the last few years and already this year. After defeating Radford I said the same thing only to see us lose the next 5.
But, today is a good day for the Dukes. Agree it is Rowe's best win. Sample size of big wins is pretty small to choose from.
Looking at the rest of the CAA today...
UNCW wins at Towson, 67-61
W&M wins big at Drexel, 84-66
Hofstra wins at home over Northeastern, 75-72
Delaware wins at home over Elon, 77-65
Current CAA Standings:
1. Hofstra 3-0
T2. Delaware 3-1
T2. W&M 3-1
T4. Charleston 2-1
T4. UNCW 2-1
6. Northeastern 1-2
T7. JMU 1-3
T7. Drexel 1-3
T7. Towson 1-3
T7. Elon 1-3
Nice job, Good Guys! Congrats!!!

Keep in mind that Ecu who the Dukes beat on the road beat Cincinatti earlier today. I saw the end of that one. Granted it was early in the season and I’m sure Ecu has since improved but when the Dukes shoot well they are a capable group. Not a good or great team by any means but they show the occasional sign individually and collectively of being an ok team and showing improvement. Week off before a very winnable home game vs Towson.

Great win . I’m glad the team rebounded after they gave away the lead .
I still think the decision to sit back as CoC was making their run was pure bonehead . A win is a win though and it was one of our best . Hope the momentum sticks

Very surprised the Dukes got the W. I thought we were done for after blowing the lead.
To be fair, CoC fell apart in the second half. They definitely didn't play their best... lost of unforced turnovers.
I do not think we have turned a corner by any means. We are still not a good team. We definitely gained some confidence today so hopefully that will make us play better the rest of the season. Still a long way to go.

I’d argue that a team who shows up against good teams, but can’t beat bad teams, is probably the biggest indication of bad coaching.
Good win today. Unless this win carries forward, it doesn’t change my opinion of Lou as a HC anymore than the Elon game. Those games net to a zero.

I think in some regard college players are uneven in terms of performance and the Thursday-Saturday schedule probably doesn't help in terms of player performance consistency. Charleston was on their second road game the same way JMU was at Elon last Saturday.
That UNCW game really stings after the fact- 2 OTs home game- Dukes needed to win that one. Have to win your Home games in conference.

Saw some of Mosely taking the ball up yesterday as well which is good. It will take a joint effort for the Dukes to realize their potential and become a solid team. I still view Lewis as a very talented player who is one of the best on the roster. I think Rowe has always liked how hard Matt works and his desire to win- however misguided it may be on a game to game basis. Banks is clearly the bellwether for this group. The team goes as he goes really- Mosely to a lesser extent. I agree in the sense that the team can win if Lewis doesn't score but he's still important in terms of defense assists and rebounds.
Banks had lost his mojo during the OOC after playing well to start the season. He is the full package and very smooth. He needs to continue to be pushed to be aggressive.

What happened? The coaching staff must have read the threads and installed all the great wisdom they gleaned from here. I sat in my regular seat and enjoyed the game. Of course I feared we were going to blow it when we averaged a turnover a minute the first nine minutes of the second half, yet we never lost the lead and pulled away. We out-statted them in all the good categories too. I want Parker bringing the ball up exclusively, yet he needs some rest too so when he is not on the court, that's a dilemma. Keeping my fingers crossed as I hope we crossed a threshold with this win.

Nice game atmosphere yesterday. Due to students not yet being back general admission was able to sit on lower level which helped fill out seats. The fans there were into the game and the Dukes played with a lot of energy. I thought coach Rowe was also more in tune with the game and actually used some timeouts when needed. Was proud of the effort and the team got the monkey off their back and got a win. A few observations:
Parker is looking more comfortable and did a nice job at the point getting the ball up the court against the press.
Jones endedicated up with more minutes than Phillips. While he doesn't offer anything on the offensive end his defense was very good and he had at least one more block than he got credit for.
I continue to be impressed by the evolution of Wilson's play.
Finally, I don't know what has happened with Jacobs but he didn't play and was dresses out.
