I don't even want to think about where this team would be had Walker been bounced instead of suspended. Sure, some of his production would have been made up by others, but not enough of it.

We needed every bit of what he gave us tonight.

Every year you have a handful of games where you don't play particularly well. Tonight was one for us and we won. So that's good. Walker's three point percentage is absolutely ridiculous right now, especially when you consider the defense is focusing on him.

I thought Duling gave a nice spark in the first half. Had some hard fought rebounds and a nice put back. Then he didn't get off the pine in the second half.

A few questions

Why did Jaylin come off the bench?

Why does Peterson play? I know he had a solid rebound. I know he made a 3. But man is underwhelming

Did we recruit their top scorer?

Walker has been coming off bench all season (Missed first five games with suspension). They’ve won every game but Louisville. I’m pretty sure he’ll start eventually.

Peterson may start but averages fewest minutes th lineup by far. Makes hustle plays. Height helps on defense.

In postgame press conference, Sendy said they had recruited their top scorer.

Peterson does not compile stats because that's not what he's asked to do. He is in to help the offense run. Watch him without the ball next game.

According to verbal commits we did offer him. He's a nice looking scorer for sure. I'm pretty happy with our guards though.

I know Jalen Avery is one of the better players on the team, but he sometimes has crazy bad games shooting - he was 0-8 from the field yesterday.

Well to me thats a good thing - that the team can win games when it doesnt play its best. And KSU has done that a few times this year.

I do wish Peterson would occasionally make a jump shot. He does a lot of other things well.

If Walker hadn't been suspended, they would be 11-1. If he wouldn't have been allowed back they would be no better than 6-6.
