Military Bowl - UC vs Virginia Tech - December 31
Figured this bowl was worthy of its own thread.

So who is attending?

Just finalized flights, hotel, car, and tickets. We are flying in on Saturday and hope to enjoy sightseeing on Sunday. Looking forward to learn what UC has planned for the bowl celebration.

Which side is UC on or does it not matter, seems like there will be a bunch of VT fans regardless.

VT feeling pretty satisfied with their win over Marshall. I say we put the chokies in their place by 7-10 pts.

I went to Cincy vs Navy last year. The little town in Annapolis is so much fun! You must go to the Naval Yards. Doesnt cost anything to just walk around and take pictures. It's a must! There's so many bars and little shops in the area too. Plenty of spots to eat drink if you get there on the 30th or if you want to kill time before game. All of this is about a 20 minute walk from where stadium is (give or take, I'm a New Yorker, so I walk fast). There's nothing immediately around the stadium.

Succinct and spot on advice.

I would also recommend an official tour of the Academy. The walk to the stadium is a little farther than you would think. Plus, unless you take a direct route, the streets get confusing branching off in all directions. On the way back to my parking spot in town I was briefly lost to where I was.

I'll be there (total of 4), bought tickets in lower level through StubHub cheaper than UC. Returning New Years Day; got a great place reasonably priced (cheaper than hotels) through airbnb. I've been to Annapolis a number of times; you can pretty much see everything in a day in town, great bars/dining in the small downtown area.

Just bought 4 lower level tickets through UC to help sell out the allotment. We will be staying around Old Town Alexandria.

Saturday - visit Alexandria
Sunday - visit D.C.
Monday - beat the neutered turkeys, drink 2018 away
Tuesday - back to Cincinnati
