I was unintentional comedy at it's finest. I wish I'd been videoing the on goings.

there was a brief glimpse of it on TV that made me chuckle. i assume that if i had seen more, i would have been LOLing (or however the kids say it)

I went over the rail. It was just as my feet cleared it that I looked down and thought, "Wow. That's a pretty big drop."

Luckily, my old knees held up.

I was a little surprised initially that the field was "stormed"

There was one guard or two that tried to stop fans from hopping on the field however they soon realized they were overmatched.

I was watching from the stands for a minute or two then decided what the heck.

I'm not a spring chicken anymore. Who knows when I would have the opportunity to join in again?

The event staff were generally gracious. They tried to stop us, but they quickly gave up and let us have our moment. Our people behaved well.

This was probably the best part. I was too nervous to go over the top, and had just made it through the bottom when I heard the security guy give up on life and started telling people to just take the stairs. I'm glad they handled it that way. I've been to games where they definitely weren't as nice.

Being on the field was awesome. Highlights for me were meeting Anthony Rush, and I awkwardly thanked him for dominating all season, and just being in the crowd overall. Need to get a shirt.

RE: CHAMPS!
I was able to thank Erdely & Thomas Johnston. Wish I had gotten around to more of them.

You can't tell up in the stands just how tall some of the players are.
