RE: UAB Coverage for CUSA Media Days
The Athletic department should have a student journalist traveling with them. The student (traveling) journalist can write the stories, from a student fan perspective, by interviewing the student athletes, with the student in mind, they can post it on the students media sites here or provide a link for feed back for fans and students . Now after the Blazer begin a successful season and become the other athletic story in Alabama...lets make al.com wait in line until our student journalist is through with the interviews..

This has got me thinking. I might start a post and every day add the breaking news being reported on al.com. Here's today's:

"How many have you seen? Rarest license plates in Alabama" and "These Alabama restaurants serve massive meals and challenge you to eat them."

RE: UAB Coverage for CUSA Media Days
I have a friend who has moved out to North Carolina from Alabama. Huge RTR fan. He told me just last night how out of the loop he felt because he doesn’t hear anything about Alabama or the SEC living here. “I haven’t heard anything about media days,” he said.

“Welcome to the life of a UAB fan!” I replied. “Your now experiencing the level of media coverage we get in our own city.”
