Things will only get worse for G5 conferences from here. This was the purpose of creating distinction between P5 and G5 conferences in the first place.

Just as I was forgetting how MT got screwed over by the NCAA Selection Committee; this article pops up and reminds me. 03-puke Can you imagine any Cartel 5 program (with the 12th most difficult road schedule in the country) being left out of the MBB Tourney? Of course not.03-banghead

Oklahoma had no business in the Tourny. MT got jobbed. Everyone knows it.

Getting jobbed by the NCAAM tournament just reminded me of MT going 8-4 in SBC football & not getting a bowl invitation.

Luckily, we have a contractual lock on 7-5 & third place in the East, so the days of not getting to play an obscure MAC team in a bowl are behind us.
