That is a slap in the face to CUSA as a conference. I was assuming top 50 at least. I expect the 2018 Toppers to be better than 2017. Let's see what they project about Marshall.

Remember this is from a no name guy. He even said we shouldn’t expect a drop off in his write up. So to assume no drop off and a chi/cit invite (which we will never take hopefully) is asinine.

I agree and to the Hilltoppers. Apparently there’s another team projected ahead of you as well from CUSA. ODU? I have hopes for this season but I know how tough Marshall and Western will be so I’d pencil us in at third at best and there’s others beating at the door as well.

So they obviously didn't re-rank after Bassey signed.

Bassey is on there, every player we have was listed....Of course I have no idea who is behind this, probably some random guy who has no clue...

WKU lost its three best players from last year and has a coach with only one winning season.
I think it’s a generous projection. If WKU can match their 3rd place finish from last year then I think the season will be a success.

Stansbury only has one winning season? Hmm how did he last so long at msu? Or are you talking about how he went from a dumpster fire with no guards on the roster when he took over to 27 wins last year? Cause that would help the writers point. But moving on past that is I can see your point but he negated your point in his description. I wouldn’t say we lost our three best players either. Jj of course was but Hollingsworth was way better than the kid from Murfreesboro at the end of the year. He was a mental midget in big games and it cost us dearly.

Last season was a historic season for WKU, no doubt.
I think Bassey can have every bit the impact Mitchell Robinson did for the Toppers. With a little work, he may even benefit from playing under Stansbury and develop into a Renardo Sidney type player and leader.
There’s a definite chance that WKU can continue to attract 7k for big games and even make another run at an NIT bid.
It’s definitely heady times on the Hill, that’s for sure.

Nice trolling, last season we had zero players returning a year ago from today and finished with 27 wins.....We have a lot more experience returning from last season vs this season....Has a coach with only one winning season? You might want to check that stat again!

I cannot wait to come back on this post here in a few months....Both programs are heading into exact opposite directions, cannot wait to see MTSU back in their place this season....

Stansbury has one winning season in two tries at WKU.
If he can continue to have a winning record every other year, I predict he retires with a facility named after him up there.

Wow MTSU fanboy logic is something isn't it?
If MTSU ever gets back to the level Kermit had them at, McDivot will have his own wookie step statue erected outside arena...Welcome back to 15-19 wins a season where your program levels historically belong.

If WKU ever has 11,000 for an MT-WKU basketball game, I will change my avatar to a WKU logo for a year.
Deal?

Quite the challenge since our arena doesn't even have a capacity of 11k (and hasn't since the renovation in 2003).

NOBODY in this conference has the right to brag about attendance. Not a single one. Weak argument.

MTSU best regular season in its history and it had one or two decent attended games and suddenly they are attendance kings?
