If the leadership were remotely forward thinking, C*USA would be the guinea pig for the inevitable. Why is live C*USA sports not on Netflix or Amazon Prime or Youtube? For FAR less effort than getting Bein Sports or whatever added to your cable package (or especially if you don't have cable) you can plug a $35 Google Chrome or Amazon Fire Stick into your TV, press a button on your phone and stream whatever you want. Its a gateway drug to a whole new market. This should be a no brainer deal.

I totally agree with that. Unfortunately the league just signed a "multi-year" deal with CBS Sports Channel and Stadium. No telling how long we're hung with that.

But hey, we can watch the game on Facebook, right?

Stadium is getting more channels on Sling... probably the most reliable streaming experience I had last season.

This is like scheduling. CUSA can't force those entities to sign a deal. If they are going to go that route, they are going to want a conference more appealing than CUSA.

Yet for some reason, CUSA bares the blame. For all it's problems, their deal with stadium is pretty forward thinking.

If CUSA pitched it and was rejected, that's a solid effort. Do you think anyone in the commissioner's office thought to pitch it?

They might want a more appealing conference, but CUSA is closer to their budget and allows them to work out the kinks and demonstrate the effectiveness of the platform.
