2018 Football Season Poll: Week 8 - UAB (6-1) at UTEP
Thank you for voting in the Week 7 thread. UAB received 12 votes, North Texas received 6 votes. UAB is now 6-1 on the season. The rest is copied and pasted from the previous thread but formatted to reflect UTEP. Please let me know if there's any other information you'd like to see in future weeks posts. I'll typically post the next game between 10am-noon CT the following day.

This is an offseason topic I've seen done elsewhere and really enjoyed so I thought I'd bring it here. Each day I'll post UAB's matchup with some information pertaining to the game, and you aselect who you think will win. If you'd like to play bonus, add your predictions for the following questions:
  • Final Score
  • Attendance Number
  • MVP

UAB wins big 35-7 off of a monster game from Spencer Brown.
UTEP attendance is tough. They know they're going to be awful (again) but you want to support the new coach. My guess is 19,000.

UAB goes into El Paso from an emotional win the week before against UNT. UTEP leads going into the third but Spencer Brown takes over in the fourth and runs for two touchdowns. UAB 28 UTEP 17.

High emotional risk game -- if UAB doesn't win big, it may not win at all.
