I think everyone has had his say in the matter. Can we consider it closed?

I think Fredericks is a very versatile player, with a good feel for the game. No problem at all with the pickup.
My concern is with the development of the front court. I trust the staff to prepare them.

Agree, and unfortunately there is not a lot of front court help out there in the transfer or juco market. A lot more back court help to be had. It will be interesting to see the newer guys get more minutes to see what they can do. I do think there is talent there.

Makes it hard to feel good about paying for a website when everything you read from the main contributor makes him seem like a dick. Between here, BearcatTalk, and Twitter there just is lack of self awareness regarding how he represents his brand.
This is coming from someone who has paid for 247 in the past, and gave to his wife's fundraiser. I don't mean ill will, but damn...

I wouldn't necessarily say he's a dick, but he does like to call out stupidity in his own sarcastic sense of humor. Don't really see a ton wrong with it, just like I don't see the need to get butthurt over "no..."
but oh well, people are different and everybody doesn't have to like everybody. And regardless of thoughts on him, you have to admit that
A. There is no better place to go for bearcat news than his site
B. He has been through a great deal in the past few months and has handled himself very well all while continuing to do his job and care for and support his wife.
Don't know the guy personally, but have a lot of respect for him after following this journey his family has been on.

I would like to clarify "seems like a dick" is not the same thing as actually being one. His digital presence just portrays that attitude, and unfortunately it drives away business.
C Trent has the exact same problem. Both are probably great guys to have a beer with, but I wouldn't say that based off impressions made on the internet.

I need to come to Chad's defense a little bit here. I think Chad, is above all else still a huge Bearcat fan and likes to share his opinion like everyone else. He likes to engage in discussions, and I don't think he should always have to feel like he is promoting his "brand" when he is on a message board discussing opinions. And I say that, as someone who doesn't always agree with some of his takes, but do respect his opinion a great deal none the less, and he does provide great content. I think he tends to be a little to protective of the coaching staffs, but I understand that it would not be in his best interest to be speaking negatively against them.

I do get what you say about C. Trent. I think Mo and some of the other guys can be the same way sometimes. I think they are used to dealing with alot of dummies on social media and call in talkers and it just sort of turns them condensending against everyone.
