Not wasting my afternoon on this but I saw they had 0 assists at the half. Some brilliant coaching from a 7th year HC who is a former B1G PG

0 assists is hard to do on purpose.

RE: MBB @Ohio
It was less a stat about passing and more a comment on finishing. Can’t get an assist if those teammates are shooting 20 %

It is very much about passing and another year of awful offensive coaching. National ranks...

Good passes lead to easy shots. Pretty simple.

Don't care what the stats are if they won against a good team.

It's not so much that I expected to win a road MAC game like this, I didn't...but goodness we look bad from a fundamental stand point. We have some guys who can score...and that's it.

They aren’t going to win when they ignore half their players. How does a team that used Marin so much last year completely remove their bigs from the offense? No post touches, don’t run pick and roll right, etc. All they are asked to do are set ball screens for selfish guards and rebound horrible shots by teammates. If I was James, Hamilton, McCarty, Zelis I would wonder “why the hell am i on this team and what about all the promises I was made?”

This team has a ton of flaws...and selfish guard play/lack of ball movement is probably #1, but the bigs are just not good at all. Monty and NIU will both be better off when he goes back to being a B1G assistant

You all need to settle down. Last Tue you were all raving about this team. Now you are throwing them under the bus. Ohio is one of the better of a weak MAC east. We will beat BG on the road and be in good shape. This board is like a roller coaster. And this is without MD on board. Calm down.
GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. And it wasn't greedy guard play that got us down early. It was everybody missing makeable shots.

We're discussing the team and the game. I wasn't even around when they played on Tuesday. This team is mediocre and will continue to be. They've been awful offensively since Monty showed up and that won't change this year. Sorry if you're upset that they lost.

That was not a good Ohio team! NIU got beat by one player going off. This team has gotten off to many slow starts this season. Thorpe does not play selfish and he takes good shots and makes them at a very high rate. German plays selfish and forces shots. German also is very bad at making good passes. He likely will not change how he plays. This is a 7-11 MAC team.

+1
They could have easily gave up in overtime. Best part of this team is they never quit.
Buffalo is a really good team. Ladies keep it going.
