I wish someone would explain how we are supposed to use the kiosks. If you order food at a kiosk, where do you pick it up? There doesn’t seem to be a dedicated serving window for the kiosk?

I'll be happy if I can actually hear the sound system this time, the nice graphic banners are in place and the congestion around the concessions is reduced. I'll be very happy if all that happens and the Monarchs win!

I'll be happy if none of that gets done but the Monarchs still win.

As much as we were excited by the new concession stands. The food is average at best. The build your own nachos are no better than what you'd get at 7-11. Cheap chips and little better than Velveeta cheese spread. I lean towards wanting quality more than I want quantity. I don't want to wait 20+ people deep for Aramark average fare. I can to hundreds of places in the region to get crap food.

How many years are we stuck with Aramark?

Would love to offer some of the great restaurants in South Hampton Roads the opportunity to have real kiosks at the Steve. Come on ODU you can't be this thoughtless and uncreative. People have donated tons of money and you give us 7-11 food.

I am pretty surprised that anybody thought concessions food was going to be good, not matter how many times Harry and Wood tried to convince us that it was an upgrade, I was always hopeful that they would integrate the food trucks into the new stadium. But Aramark has too much money to lose by not controlling that piece.

Another reason to bring back some of the food trucks.

This area really is known for it's food so I can totally see us bringing in many of the local food joints (many of them ODU alumni) to bring their own flare to the stadium, when the contract is up of course.

Interestingly, Aramark does the food at Many of the Professional Stadiums but, like at the Nationals Games, they still have local places with food offerings too. Perhaps there isn't interest from the local places to sell at the stadium or maybe Aramark charges some sort of fee for outside vendors to be present. Who knows, but I agree some food trucks or food carts on the concourses would be great additions.

How about that promised WiFi? I could never connect.

UVA's Wi-Fi was awesome.

I’m not sure what kind of quality you expect from concession stand nachos, but my bacon double cheeseburger was really good, better than expected.
