If we can't hit a date for releasing a design plan it doesn't instill a lot of confidence about the ability to hit an opening date in time for the 2019 season.

I mean, snow happened. And I doubt that what was *possibly* going to be announced was at a critical deadline and probably has some wiggle room.

Whoever the decision makers are, all of them, I think this is important enough that I'd want them in the same room at the same time if at all possible. And I'm not being sarcastic.

I agree with ya jumpshooter. This is a big deal. I am not butt hurt about this delay. Just being a sarcastic ass today for some reason.

I'm guessing it'll be on hold til early next week if nothing comes out today. Friday announcements tend to get lost in the shuffle.

Ya, I figured. Sometimes I just need to reply to every comment with an asinine meme. It just feels good. Like a jar of peanut butter at 2am watching Hugh Grant films. That feels better.

Maybe I'm alone, but I don't even care anymore. Maybe I'll be surprised, but I'm not even holding out any hope or expectation of that. I want the waterfront stadium, but agree that would be a total waste and a poor investment given the current situation. Then again, just about anything would be the same. I say put the money in escrow and kick the can 5-10 years and revisit then to see if the landscape has improved. Until then, I can live with the bathrooms and concessions as is.

Nice. A $130 million 35,000 seat stadium. Not bad for a historically bad G5 program in an urban area 5 hours up the road. This is a program we thought we would surpass rather quickly. ODU needs to keep up. I truly hope we get good news soon and aren't terribly disappointed.

I hate to be that guy to repeat the same boring info over and over, but the structural integrity of foreman doesn't allow us to wait 5-10 years. I don't think we even have 2 years. It is literally falling apart.
