This has nothing to do with delusion and glory days. This has to do with walking the walk and not just talking the talk. She talked and did little walking. Then, left the program with barely enough players to field a team. I can understand moving on. She left a wake of emptiness. Great person, very motivational, but the results are not congruent.

She was 10 games above .500 overall in her time there, i think any of us here would take that right now!
OOC record was padded with easy wins. Look to see what she did against good teams. We were never competitive.
Like the previous poster said, she is an energetic coach, a friendly lady, but she can’t coach her way out of a paper bag.
Her coaching strategy was give Simms the ball and have her create. Simms shouldn’t have been at ODU, so she was worth 30 points by herself. Look at the games where we were leading and lost. Other team made adjusts and KB never did.
And the two transfers you got from ODU... not very good.
I'll never understand why grown adults would go to another school's forum to throw shade at a coach that left their program. If she's that bad, you should be happy she's gone and not really think about her that much and focus on the coach and team you have now.
Then you take it a step further and drop shade on some college players.
I'm sure in your real life everyone loves you and you're too amazing for the rest of us.
Feel free to run along now.
I didn’t “drop shade” on any players. That’s not my style. As for coach, what she did was pretty much equivalent of a parent leaving her family in the middle of the night as the sole bread winner. Perhaps she knew that she was going to be asked to leave. Who knows? But she picked up and left the family and put them in a very tough position. I’m not wishing I’ll will, but I’m certainly not pulling for great success right away.
As for the student athletes, like I said, I didn’t mention them at all. However, I do wish them all the best.

Bluezilla, I wasn't referring to your post. I was responding to 'Justanodufan'.
I had no issue with any of your posts.

RE: 2017-18 Women's Basketball Thread
The Seahawks beat Towson at home tonight, 64-53. It was their 3rd win in 4 games, to improve to 4-13 in CAA play.
Madison Raque suffered what appeared to be a serious injury and had to be helped off the court. Potentially a very tough way for her Seahawk career to end.
On the plus side, Chinyere Bell was simply awesome off the bench, putting up 18 points in just 14 minutes of action. She made several highlight reel plays, displaying three high level skills: Shooting, handles, and passing. Bell was 8-9 from the field. In the 4th quarter, she was taking control of the offense, and taking defenders one-on-one, either getting layups or knocking down threes (2-3). She made a beautiful pass from behind half court to DeGraaf, who made the layup and got the foul. To top it off, she had another gorgeous drive to the hoop where she layed the ball up under the defender's arm in skillful fashion.
Bell had Trask louder than it's been in some time despite a pretty small crowd (no more than 200).
The Lady Hawks' final tune-up before the CAA Tournament will be a home contest against Elon on Saturday afternoon at 2, right smack in the middle of the baseball doubleheader.
We're likely going to end up playing Towson again in the play-in round.

Towson is a very good draw for us. We beat them at home and only lost to them by 1 point up in Maryland.

Decent, actually for the ladies. Haven't seen the numbers. I'd guess our sessions was in the 1000 people range
