Interesting article that came out recently about Hugh Freeze...wonder if there will be any mutual interest. Thought it was disrespectful it mentions Hugh wants the Middle Tennessee job as Stockstill is still the HC there

https://www.seccountry.com/mississippi/c...oup-5-jobs

The scandal-prone Ole Miss coach believes he could spend a year in the Group of 5 conferences and then jump back to a power job, a la Bobby Petrino at Western Kentucky a few years ago.

He wants the job at MTSU, which isn’t open. If Troy coach Neal Brown left for another job, Freeze would consider the Trojans.

RE: 2017 football coaching changes
Talk about a possible clusterbomb but the SEC coaching carousel could be just that come January

Ole Miss fired its coach back in the summer
Florida fired its coach recently
Tennessee fired its coach recently
Texas A&M reportedly will fire its coach this weekend
Arkansas reportedly will fire its coach this weekend
Auburn's coach reportedly is the frontrunner for the Arkansas job "if" it does open
Longshot but Ms State's coach is a possibility at Tennessee if others don't work out

Lane may also be a candidate at Arizona State if that job opens up as that is the type of place that he could a good fit at.

Nebraska fires Mike Riley, UCF fans should start worrying now. Will Nebraska contact Frost before the AAC championship or after?

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Rice, Tulsa and Pittsburgh fans alike can rejoice in Graham's firing.

Got to say, I'm surprised Florida isn't going after Frost, but I guess the consensus with him is he's headed to Nebraska as soon as AAC championship game is over and he formally interviews.

RE: 2017 football coaching changes
Rumors now swirling that Jimbo Fisher could be named HC at Texas A&M as early as tomorrow. 5 years/$7.5 mil a year. Says he will coach season finale vs UL Monroe but not the possible bowl game. Hopefully it’s announced tomorrow and the players call it quits mentally to help open up a possible bowl spot.
