could possibly be back for a bowl game. Depends on how fast he heals. non-displaced fracture should be completely healed in about 6-7 weeks. Can start working on ensuring there is minimal atrophy in the muscles in the leg. Also assume his ankle will be immobilized which could make it very difficult to get his leg ready in a month after that. Possible, but depends on a lot of factors. The worst part is getting the tendons and ligaments to recover after being immobilized for that long.

Remembering back to when I had a displaced fracture in my arm on homecoming (coincidence). Broke it on October 13th and I got the cast off the day after Thanksgiving (6 weeks). Was about back to normal in 3-4 weeks.
