RE: WMU Men's Soccer
Huge Show mentions Michigan and Michigan St being ranked in soccer, doesn't mention WMU's soccer ranking. I sent him a message, also noting WMU's win over Michigan last season.

Broncos 1 UM 0

Great win for our boys! Played the majority of second half down a man after getting a red card. We played very composed. Very talented team.

Way to go Broncos. I heard they had a record crowd on hand. Hope to see some pictures.

Place was sold out. They weren't prepared for the crowd.

RE: WMU Men's Soccer
I watched it on the live feed. Was a good game. We held play in the UM end, and had better chances and control throughout until the red cad put us a man down. I watch a lot of soccer, and I can say with conviction WMU has a very good team. We were clearly better than UM. The MAC has some good teams, and it will be fun to see what happens with our bunch. This is very cool, and it sounds like others are getting excited. Love it that we filled the place.

Congrats to the WMU men's soccer team!! Beating a ranked opponent is always good, but beating UofM at home when both teams are ranked in front of a by far record crowd, can it get much better?! Go Broncos!!

Over 2300 there yesterday. Could have been more if the parking attendants were just directing people to overflow parking vs "Maybe try again next home game." Yes that really happened from what I heard. I got there early luckily and found a spot. There could be even more when #6 MSU comes in a few weeks. Hopefully WMU can figure out something with the local businesses near the field, who had plenty of empty lots on their property, which is on donated WMU land I might add.

So, what did the NCAA use for their article about the game last night?

WMU and other such schools will never get any respect. Just get used to it.

Doesn't surprise me at all that they would use Michigan's name in the headline despite them losing the game.

Very proud of our team though, they've been amazing this season. 5 shutouts through 8 games. That's a spectacular stat.

Way it's always been. In fact, it used to be worse, if you can believe that.

WMU parking attendants were parking cars three wide at Lot 95 Saturday for FB game. Several of us pointed that out to a "orange vest" attendant and got that deer in the headlights look. Common sense seems to evade some

Great win boys! Kalamazoo is a great soccer town. I'm sure the crowds will continue to show up to watch good soccer.

Just to play devil's advocate, that article appears to have been submitted by U of M Athletics. I don't know if WMU Athletics gets the same opportunity to submit an article with the WMU perspective, but that would at least explain why that article was so slanted to the U of M perspective.

I get that. I have been a Broncos fan since I was in grade school. I'm unfortunately used to it. But, we are talking about the NCAA here. You Think they would post an unbiased, unsalted article

Agree with B.B. No doubt in my mind they plucked that from the UofM soccer site. Reads just like an article for the 'home' team. I doubt WMU really even wrote an article. Some of our athletic articles are pretty sad.
