Hayford, Europe, Dollar
Jim Hayford is visiting all euro-SU players (who are all Dollars guys) in their hometowns which is great to see. Guys like Menzies, Uleano, and Kavas are critcal. Also Mattia Da Campo made the Italy U20 national team, so he may be better than we thought.

Anyway, Cameron Dollar noticed this and the two coaches talked a little on Twitter about it. Might be wrong, but I cant recall the fired coach and his replacement being publicly nice to each other like this, so soon after the firing.

Here is a link to screenshots of the Tweets, as well as each coach's Twitter.

Despite the levels Dollar never led SU to, he did a lot building a program from D2 to D1 without even being there during D2 days. But he just never could make his recruiting magic at UW work a few miles south at SU for some reason. As he said going into YEAR SIX of his 8 years, "its been hard to get local players excited about Seattle U"

I was looking at Hayfords twitter account. He has been much more active than our coach. Hayford has tweeted at least 35 times since being hired as the Seattle coach. Jans has tweeted a total of six time. This is one area where I wish Jans would be more in active in generating fans interest. I would like to see pictures of Jans with the Aggie players. Hopefully, his twitter will become more active as we get closer to the season.

It's interesting that in cities, different social media is more popular. Example, in Bakersfield, Facebook is king with Instagram a growing second. I prefer Twitter, but it's small in Bako. I feel it's a superior platform, but I (have to) have an Instagram account to keep up better on my Bakersfield sites (mostly breweries and French pastry cafes ).
Perhaps that's a factor.

Currently mobile....8th floor of the Padre Hotel.

Same here. In Seattle, its Twitter. In Idaho (especially Lewiston) its Facebook. Here in Columbus, it seems to be IG. But Snapchat is everywhere
