Cool, sure glad he went to UT instead a power house school. This is one man that OSU missed out on!

I think I could have purchased the entire Topp's series, including 200 dry, sickly sweet gum, for $9.99 when I was a kid. 5 cards for a Nicole, 1,000 cards? Yep.

RE: Kareem Hunt's Premiere NFL Rookie Card Introduced
So folks understand, the word "premier" doesn't mean the 1st Kareem Hunt card, but rather card made for the NFL Rookie Premier event that Kareem was a part of. There have already been quite a number of Kareem Hunt cards released. I believe that Panini now has an exclusive right to produce all NFL-related football cards and they make several different lines. These "instant" cards are relatively new, where they sort of print cards on-demand for different events - playoffs, draft, MVPs, etc. I think they are mostly bought by Ebay resellers hoping to make a buck flipping them.

Michael Roberts has a few cards too, but not nearly as many as Kareem. He signed an independent deal with Sage which is one of the last independent card companies left.

I started collecting cards of former Rockets in any sport about 5 years ago, stupidly thinking, how many can there be? I had no idea how much the trading card industry has changed (several times over) since I was a kid. Well around 1100 different cards later, I'm still no where near running out of cards to find/acquire.

Anyone else collect cards of current/former Rockets?

I only have one card of any kind right now - and it is signed by Bruce G. What I wouldn't give to find out what happened to my baseball card collection from back in the 60's.

I collected cards when I was a kid, too. I didn’t have a great number, but I had Maris, Mantle, and gosh I can't remember who else. I know now I should have taken good care of them and saved them, though. I think I gave them away to a neighbor kid when I thought I was growing up. [eyeroll]

Anyway, I started again several years back when I got the Rocket fever. People would be surprised how many cards there are of Rockets, especially Taylor and Gradkowski. It's fun to have little pieces of Rocket history. Some cards have actual jersey swatches on them. I have some cards, including Hunt and Roberts, along with some other things, in MY ONLINE STORE. I have a lot more stuff to put up. I’m just getting started.
