Update of LU Olympic Sports
With the recent hoopla regarding LU upcoming FB schedule, what's the latest about the non-football sports? Are they remaining in the BSC or being told to move on?

Do you have a source or just a guess?

Update of LU Olympic Sports
I suppose it's an educated guess. The administration, conference, nor outside sources have hinted or talked about Liberty leaving the BSC. As a matter of fact I seem to remember our admin. suggestiing we want to stay and be good members of the BSC.

Is there someplace you'd rather see our Olympic sports end up? There are only a handful of places to go.....

A10 - 14 teams
Atlantic Sun - 8 teams (but is this any better than BSC)
Big East - 10 teams (I know we have a team in the BE but there is no chance of going there for all Olympics)
CAA - 10 teams (would be great but they don't want us)
Southern - 10 teams (that don't want us)

RE: Update of LU Olympic Sports
We are definitely in Big South through the 2017-2018 school year. The league has yet to formally announce their decision beyond that time frame. There is very little upside for them to send us packing.

RE: Update of LU Olympic Sports
One could assume since no statement has been made LU is okay in the BSC for the time being.

Update of LU Olympic Sports
I want LU to add men's and women's rifle, men's hockey, women's rowing, men's Lax, women's gymnastics and men's swimming and diving.

But I guess that would mess the balance if power up.
