But it's not though. He's terrible at seeding picks, and he routinely misses 1 or 2 "last 4 in", which is all that matters when it comes to guessing who is in or out. Anyone can tell Gonzaga is in. The last 4 is the hard part.

His final bracket will sometimes look good because he gets insider info moments before the official brackets, but his earlier brackets all suck.

He gets close. It's a crapshoot and he gets pretty close. I haven't seen anyone that's much better, and I know none of us could predict it better. I don't take it as the Bible, and it's not supposed to be taken that way. And no one can predict the last 4 in because the committee always does something stupid there

RE: Keatts on ESPN Charlotte
He stakes his claim of 98% or whatever is who makes the field, not seeds or match-ups.

Almost half the field are automatic bids. He gives himself credit for picking those teams.

He was really spooked by Syracuse's selection last year. He has them in this year despite a RPI of 84.

I grew up a Cuse fan and I don't think they should get in. The problem is despite the rest, people have a tough time ignoring three wins vs top 10 teams. That said, IMO, bad losses should offset those
