As someone with no dog in the fight, this has been an incredible World Series to watch. Sometimes you have to just sit back and say "ain't baseball great?"

I'm going to agree on that one in that the games have been interesting and crazy... and lots of big plays after not much going on.

Astros I think have this series. Verlander in 6 I really like that.

Don't know how the Dodgers can knock Verlander out of two games, but I'll be rooting for it.

Man, WTF?! Dodgers, with their amazing pitching staff, led by pitcher of the whatever, can't manage a 4 run lead in the 1st inning. Maddening.

I hate the Kershaw can't pitch in the playoffs narrative as much as any Dodger fan but at some point you run out of excuses. The guy didn't have it tonight, on a night when he could have snuffed out that narrative once and for all.

what I'm amazed at with Kershaw- he's given up 8 homers this postseason- the most homers EVER given up by a guy in postseason history.

and it's wild-
2017- 31 hr allowed including playoffs in 204 innings
before this year the most-
2015- 17 hr allowed including playoffs in 246.1 innings
2011- 16 hr allowed in 233 innings

just sad that that another Dodgers great lefty won't ever realize his full potential due to injury

Uhh, yeah, he shut down the Astros in Game 1. The Astros were at home and their bats were very much awake tonight/last night. Kershaw is fine. He's not perfect but he's to be respected. He did much better than Keuchal. Keuchal has been disappointing in his last three starts, including tonight/last night.
