Ebay:

Was curious to see what other ODU items were for sale on eBay and came across this:

A 2010 Blaine Taylor Autographed NCAA Tournament chair. Talk about reliving the glory days. Man I miss the NCAA Tournament BAD.

It was, but the decision was not to go back until they have 16 Teams.

RE: ODU Merchandise
I know when it comes to branding, ODU is in its beginning stages. I hate that I can find better stuff for my 9 y.o. daughter at Target than I can at the ODU bookstore. I assume that ODU has sourced its bookstore out to Follet instead of running the bookstore itself for monetary/logistic reasons. When I am looking for VT stuff, which granted has had more time in the branding game due to its lengthy football program, this is what I get when I go to the bookstore website. https://www.bookstore.vt.edu/ Anyone have any insights into the agreement with Follet? I think ODU would be better off letting that go and doing it in house.

Not sure. Looks like vt has a lot more apparel but I just went yo both mobile apps and ours appears better to me. A bit easier to navigate and more modern. I've noticed recently a lot of our sites starting to get makeovers.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.

I don't want it to come off like I don't like the Under Armour deal we have, but man wouldn't it be nice to have that partnership with Nike that VT has. Nike throws so many different products at Tech not just in regards to their sports teams but in regards to their fan apparel as well

P5 vs. G5 is part of it. The other part is on our bookstore staff not ordering the good UA stuff. They keep ordering the Heat Gear stuff which is fine if you are 20 and in shape but most of us are 40 and not. I have asked more than once for them to get some of the Charged Cotton stuff. They did get 100% more! They have two shirts now. I would love to see some actual sideline gear in there too. That has yet to happen.

I agree. Heat Gear is good and even though I'm in my 20s and work out I would also like some nice UA ODU stuff that I can wear outside of the gym haha

There is a disconnect between ODU, the bookstore and what the fans want. Most of the stuff on the bookstore website and the new odu sports merchandise website is extremely over priced, way to flashy or impractical. Overall the selection needs to get better and priced better. As long as eFollett is running it there are going to be major problems.

The new ODU Sports merch site is the worst. Yes, you can customize stuff but all they did was talk to the same promotional products people that ODAF and the athletics staff were using for polos and made an e-commerce site. They didn't even bother to hide the login spot for ODAF or athletics staff. It looks so small time. I really don't know why they didn't contract it out to Fanatics and get us a nice looking website and better selection.

My brother picked up some Football schedule fridge magnets back in 2015. Any idea if they have them for this year and if so where to get one?

Yes, we have the schedule magnets again. Plenty of opportunities to pick them up...Fan Appreciation Day on Aug 26 or at the marketing tent on Kaufman Mall prior to any home game.

Or if you want some sooner, feel free to email me (jichandl@odu.edu) and I'll be glad to mail you a couple.

They accidentally had a ODU visor at Cracker Barrel @ Edinburgh. =]

On a related note. If we had something like this: https://campusemporium.com/products/virg...0649625229

I'd be all over that.

They were great last year too. Best selection in the area though the quality is a little lacking. If all the Walmarts in the area had a set up like that one I'd be happy.
