I downloaded it yesterday. Was expecting to pay $19.99, but was surprised to see it was free.

Yeah, my first couple days I was really bad. I started out doing the 1v1 because I felt bad for screwing up my teammates all the time. I definitely recommend doing the training things, I don't really bother with the Aerial stuff.

My best strategy so far to allow me to at least be a contribution to the team is to avoid the assured destruction that is the faceoff/kickoff, and just kind of hang around the halfway line. Then, when it begins to make it's way to the center, begin to creep up, and when it is crossed in front of goal, hit the boost, and go flying at the goal and try to get some contract on it. LOL

I'm getting excited for Xbox's gamescom briefing and to see more of Scalebound.

Well, today my "imported" Villager Amiibo arrived. I now have the "Holy Trinity" of amiibos in one form or the other. I really hate these damn things are so collectable...

FWIW, Holy Trinity = Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, and Marth. 2/3 I got at retail MSRP. Villager was the only one above MSRP but not by much.

Amazon.com US via a seller on there fulfilled by Amazon. Got him and Wario. Wii Fit Trainer I got at BBY out in the open a few weeks ago. Marth I ran across at the TRU here in town on a random day back in May...they had gotten 4 in. I hadn't seen him anywhere since last November LOL.

Is it just me or did the Halo 1 story kinda suck? Halo 2's story thus far has been much better!

I think by it's merit of being the paradigm shifter in FPS games, Halo: CE will always be considered a lexicon game, but I agree, after playing through the original Bungie trilogy on XBone, it's probably the worst of the three. The finale of Halo 3 was a simply incredible gaming experience, with O'Donnell and Salvatori's pitch perfect score just making it one of the pinnacle experiences in high intensity gaming.

I've never played Forza or been interested in racing games really but I've watched playthrough to of 5 and H2 and I'm now intrigued in 6. Anyone care to talk me into or out of purchasing it?
