Lembo gets a raise
Kind of old news, but...

Quote:Coming out of Friday's Ball State board of trustees meeting, a few of the school's highest-profile coaches will be getting pay bumps.

Football coach/associate athletic director Pete Lembo saw his salary raised by $14,250 to $489,250. Volleyball coach Steve Shondell's base compensation increased from $91,225 to $93,692.

seems like a weird number...

A reader in The Star Press wanted to know why the football coach gets paid so much more than Shondell the volleyball coach. Uh.....

Lembo is not the highest paid coach in the MAC - but he is No. 2! Good job by the Board.

I think this is his year, honestly. He's the real deal, no gimmick style guy who will be around for years in the business.
