HUGE DECISION! I get why young men would want to go to USC but if you were to take a step back and look at the program....well behind ours. I think this decision comes down to us and Illinois. I am taking a wild guess. Just saying what my gut instinct is.

I would never tweet at a recruit but has this rule ever been enforced?

Interesting. He has/had a scheduled visit to Illinois this coming weekend. He has stated USC and ODU are on him the hardest. Hope the crappy weather at the football game Saturday didn't sway him away from us. He was being escorted by Trey Freeman and coach Richardson at the football game....

I'm thinking positive thoughts. Hopefully, it means that he liked what he experienced here this weekend and is ready to make his decision.

They may say it never rains in Southern California, but just because it rained here during his visit I don't think that would be the biggest deciding factor in where he wants to play the next four years, at least I hope not. Fingers crossed, I think that Illinois may be out and I’m only speculating when I say we are probably neck and neck with USC. We will see soon enough.

I consider myself a realist and normally would not pick us over USC or Illinois.But, I like us in this one. Hope I'm right. I think he picks us.

I think we are the smart pick for him. Freeman will be gone and BJ Stith will be the other guard. We are only a couple players away from a top 25 team and possibly a deep run in the NCAA tournament. I don't think USC or Illinois can make that claim.

Andy Enfield losing a recruit to ODU would be the ultimate irony.

Ahmad Caver is a rFR guard, and a very good one.

We get Lucas and we will see the ball really rolling on the recruiting front. We have some really great players waiting in the wings and with just a few more select players, like Lucas, I agree we are gonna be really,really good.[/u]

Any of you insiders really think we have a good chance or will this just add to the list of disappointments?

I'm not saying that we're definitely getting him, but I know we have a great chance...as good of a chance as a solid recruit having us in (essentially) his final 2.
