I believe that Kent was the guy that tied the score at the foul line in the closing seconds of the game by hitting 2 for 2 just prior to Butler winning on the tip-in basket . That was big time pressure performance. Definitely not the actions of someone that choked in the game!

Baze didn't go 0-12, he went 0-3 and as stated before, was more of a decoy as Butler was keying in on him. We needed someone like Darius James or Ben Finney to step up in that game and it didn't happen.

So, he's back in the class of 2016? Surprised that the NCAA authorized that! Recruiting past college players some of which are in the NBA sounds against the rules.

2016 recruiting is a huge class I think ....

That is 6 with 4 of those guards. We will likely not give 4 guard schoolies in 1 class. I would think the make up with be 3 Guard (PG,shooting, combo/SF) and a PF and C. I suspect they might even carry 1 or 2 into 2017.

Correct. I would guess that they would try to get a few JuCos in that class in order to spread out the scholarships.

If Pervier is not granted two years, that would be another vacant scholarship. The coaching staff will definitely be earning their pay trying to replace our current crop of juniors.

How about this kid as a transfer? 6'6 F/G, 16 ppg, 5.5 rebounds, shot almost 80% from the line. All as a freshman.

Well, he is leaving school, forgot the link.

No idea if he's interested, but I would imagine if he was on the radar of VCU, GMU, etc. his name was on a list in the ODU offices as well.

There's apparently 2 or 3 schools that he's really interested in, so if we don't hear anything soon, I imagine it's not us. Fordham fired the coach that recruited him, so he's essentially going back to the last 12 or so schools that were on his list.
