Yeah, Cole is the real deal. As is Goddard for Greeneville. Heck, they've got a whole barn full of DI talent (and the offers to show for it). Goddard could be a star for somebody.

Goddard already had committed to UVa earlier. I knew that but somehow had forgotten it when I posted that. I heard a *very* vague rumor he could de-commit, but I wouldn't put *any* stock in that.

Bobo Hodges would be a major get for ETSU for the future of the QB position.

What do you all think of this Kody Lewis kid for Erwin? He's fast, agile, and carries a load. Rather gaudy stats, albeit against mostly weak comp. Also only a junior. I question whether he's DI-AA talent, but he possibly may be by next year. Some times you see him and think, "That kid's got tools." More likely DII, but I hear he's been getting some interest - I just don't know from who all. Only 5'10".

There's a ton of 5'9-5'11 RB'S putting up gaudy numbers playing against high level competition. IMO, Sanders would recruit the higher level player.

Of all the local players ( within 70miles ) that have committed to ETSU the last five years, very few have stayed in the program and even fewer contributed meaningful minutes.

I believe there are now 6 kids who have committed to DI football programs from Greeneville. Crockett has a couple too. Their QB is a finalist for 5A Mr Football. I would think he would play DI somewhere. And did the Greeneville QB commit to Army already or did I imagine that?

He's committed to Army. If he was a few inches taller, he would be recruited by everybody.

So I'm not very good at understanding the whole recruiting process.

Due to the team having drastically exceeded expectations this year, and in a position to go ever further, what impact, if any, could this have on recruiting efforts going forward?
