I was just kidding; hence the j/k. We had a thread on here recently ragging on Jones & staff fro recruiting beyond their reach. Was playing off of that.

Mccray has been recruiting pretty hard and has put out alot of offers to P5 level recruits(including top high school freshmen and sophomores). Looks like shes using everything in her arsenal to try and bring in sunstantial players who can help this team in the future.

Here's a scouting report. Looking at video think we got a good one. She lead her HS team to a state championship and undefeated season.

Young was one of the players that left a big impression on our staff. She is freaky athletic, she does it all. On the defensive end she is able to defend 1-4, she is a great shot blocker with good timing. She rebounds outside of her area. She is at her best in transition finishing with defenders looking up at her.

Does she have a really large wingspan or just has really good timing? It looks like she get's a TON of blocks and pass disruptions. Also looks like she's a lefty. I think this is a really good get.

In the videos she plays big for 5'11". Looks long and quick.

Great get...this is exactly the type of player we should be recruiting. Tell me one player that KB recruited that looked this versatile and with as much upside.

Did you see the score of the SC High School 4A championship game, you never see scores that one-sided 61-37 in a championship game. Amari had 19pts, 13rebs, 5steals, 2blks and was all everything. Her AAU team played in the VaBeach Classic back in late April. I like this player she's a winner, with a high motor.

Thats one impressive looking recruit in those HUDL videos. She plays hard on offense and defense. Her coach made her her defend the best players of opposing teams and she has showed up many other highly rated players. Coach McCray is hitting the recruiting trail hard in Virginia and South Carolina. She has put many offers out for the top players in the state, against the likes of P5 powers like South Carolina, Clemson and GA Tech.

Would love to see the series restart with Tenn. The year we beat them at the Field House in '96 and had a rematch in the NCAA championship was top notch women's basketball.

She looks good, but man, I thought boys HS basketball was tough to watch when comparing a top recruit to others, but it's even worse in girls.

That's when I became a fan oh and it was in January 97 they beat tenn in the field house but the 96-97 season
