Nigel Pruitt commits to KSU
Nigel Pruitt, a 6'7 forward out of Bullis (Md.), just verbally pledged to Kennesaw State, per a source.

Great news here. This kid sounds good on paper...sounds like a well rounded athlete. He averaged 11 and 6.5 his junior year but so far this year he's averaging 17.9 ppg and shooting 79.2% from the line. His father played football at FSU so good blood lines.

23 in white. Can't tell much but seems like he has good form on his shot with a quick release, an above average athlete and good length.

Looks like Coach Preston has been doing a good job on the recruiting trail. If Delbert Love is a preview of what is to come for the Coach Preston era, I believe we can be very competitive in 2 or 3 years in whichever conference we may be in.

Really tough to tell, but it is clear he is a guard and not a post. Pretty frail, limited leaper, but all in all I am pretty intrigued. I would love to see a full game tape. Too bad no one posts those on the internet :)

A blurb out of a Rivals article on Nigel

"Another player who is making noise in southern Maryland is Bullis School'sNigel Pruitt. A 2012 prospect, Pruitt's play has been a big reason why Bullis has a 14-1 record and is considered one of the top teams in the D.C. area this season, averaging 17.5 points per contest. Additionally, the 6-6 forward has been impressive in big games, eclipsing the 20-point mark in wins over local powerhouses John Carroll, St. Alban's, and St. John's. Pruitt currently has an offer from Kennesaw State and should see increased interest if he continues to produce stellar performances throughout the season."

Those DC leagues are tough. Seems like a good pickup. I like the height and reach of him. Preston seems to be getting guys that are flying under the radar. I really hope he gets Greg Murphy for 13-14 season. Thats a kid who's flying under the radar right now, but scouts are slowly starting to pick up on him because his team is in contention for a state title.

Another great pull of info, Mike. Keep it up. Based on what I read, I like his attitude. Having him at the 3 is not a bad thing. If he adds weight and works hard, he'd be a dominant 4 and a nightmare matchup.
