that's it eh? There are more than likely 2 top 25 teams in the WAC this next year but only the conference champ ends up there.
Fresno and Hawaii both come to Boise and that's an 'L'. So if Boise loses one in conference, they win the tiebreaker with the Dogs and Warriors. Smart money should be on Boise to repeat, but there's not much smart money out there as the 'experts' pick as you do. We'll see.

Why are you even worried about how the Sun Belt will finish and why are you posting this on a WAC messageboard, SoCalValleyDog? And worse, why are you responding to a David Krysakowski thread?
I know you want nothing but bad things for both Middle Tennessee and Louisiana-Monroe because of our very vehement and vocal stand against the existence of Louisiana Tech in the Sun Belt.
Good luck in the WAC. Hope you can represent southeastern collegiate football very well in the WAC.
But this I will promise you. The last place team in the Sun Belt this year will be one of the three teams leaving for the WAC!! Book it, buddy! It won't be ULM like you want!

I am pretty sure that none of the Sun Belt teams headed for the WAC will finish last in the SBC.
Unless MSTU and Monroe improved drastically!!!!

Well, there is a really good reason why Idaho is picked to finish last, however, I'm puzzled why everyone thinks New Mexico State will good. The Aggies of Las Cruces have worse defensive problems than we do.
And for the record, BroncoBob, MTSU defeated New Mexico State last year in convincing fashion and won against Idaho in the Hangar.
NMSU's only win over MTSU was by a field goal in a game held in Las Cruces.
I seriously believe New Mexico State will finish last and Idaho will likely finish second to last.
As much as I hate Utah State, they'll probably finish somewhere in the upper half of the conference, though they most certainly will not be able to win it.
MTSU lost five games last year by eight points or less. ULM lost five games by seven points or less. These two teams aren't bad. They just had bad fortune, BroncoBob. A play or two here in each one of those games involving those schools and last season's final standings would've been much different.

How do you base any of your logic? do you even research before you spew nonsense outta your mouth?
NMSU defense ended up 40th nationally last year (after giving up a million pts to Texas) and return 10 starters.

Okay, I honestly do not care about Utah State anymore. They aren't a Sun Belt member anymore anyways. Our conference's future is in the Southeast, not the West.
And to XLGPP, any team that has to schedule a Division II team to find a guaranteed win is suspect no matter how you look at it. NMSU's 3-9 record last season and near loss to ULM has to boggle the mind especially considering that many media outlets predict NMSU to finish as high as second in the Sun Belt. But I'm guessing those outlets are located in the West.
Your team lost to five Sun Belt teams last year, XLGPP. Remind me which one of those Sun Belt teams wound up hammering your team by the widest margin?
You want to know who will win the Sun Belt this year? Don't look to the West. That team is going to come from the Southeast from either UNT, MTSU, or Troy. It certainly is EDUCATED to say that one of those three teams will win the Sun Belt this fall.
