What did you guys do with the bras?

For those not "in the know," Nate is a member of the OUTSTANDING acapella group "Chiefs of Staff." I was lucky enough to be on the front row on Friday as these talented (and handsome) young men performed and rocked a packed auditorium. At Saturday night's show the guys had ladies throwin their undies at them.

I got one thrown on me so I kept that one, I had to give it back so I did afterward... I think Matt Greenslade had one thrown to him by his GF Klara and he was like "WTF this is Klara's bra... this has special meaning for us!"
It was good times.

We're gonna have a CD again this year, and I'll make sure you get one. :)

If you want to hear more Chiefs, almost all of them are in the East Chapel Hill Musical of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" playing the roles of the brother's and Joseph. Sound done by your's truly. Shows are Feb 26-28 at 7:30.

If anyone wants to buy a CD... shoot me a PM... They will probably be 8 bucks or 10 bucks... depending on how good of a studio we get.

List of probable songs

Walkin in Memphis - Mark Cohn
Let's Get it On - Marvin Gaye
I'll Be - Edwin McCain
Kissed by a Rose - Seal
More than Words - Extreme
Oh What a Night - (not sure? Billy Joel?)
Overjoyed - Stevie Wonder
Virtual Insanity - Jamiroquai
Brick - Ben Folds Five
Seven Bridges Road - The Eagles
Impression that I get - Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Semi Charmed Life - Third Eye Blind
Free Fallin - Tom Petty
And a few others...

If you have any questions about anything you need an objective opinion about, ask TDM or Thomas, cause I will just tell you how ridiculously good we are (or at least part of the group is). 03-razz

If you will send 5 bucks to Thomas, he can get you a ticket... and he or I will mail it to you, or you can pick it up at the door the night of the play... T-Monay knows more info than I do, those techies are always on top of things 03-wink Talk to him to get accurate details.

Yes she was my nurse... I went out to get some Bojangles to fry up my vocal chords real nice, so I could hit those ridiculously low notes... On our way back, we thought we were late... and I got my foot caught in a hole or something... busted my ****** on the concrete... and my palms got torn up pretty nicely. Your darling daughter fixed them up quite nicely... I was a pansy and didn't disinfect the cuts, so now they are looking a bit disinfected. :(

which one is it?
-Franki valli and the four seasons, or
-the dells

please tell me neither. Because if you do the Franki valli version, and you ruin it (which you would, because nobody except for the 4 seasons can do it), you'll have to leave the state.

Its Frankie Vallie, and they do an excellent job. It's A Cappella so it sounds a little different.

This is a studio recording as opposed to your live recording? Because you had some of these songs on their first album.

sorry thomas. their group might be great, i wouldn't know. But nobody except for the 4 seasons can do this song, and you can't take away the music either.

Tarheelsben1 and flyingswoosh-if you like acapella groups you will LOVE these guys. Wish you could see 'me live too. And since I am a Mom from the "other" (read better) school I am not even supposed to like the Chiefs of Staff. Saturday night I was honestly reduced to a puddle of mush when they performed "Let's Get It On."

We may finally see a show at East since so many Chiefs are in "Joseph" but it is the same weekend as our production of "The Importance of Being Earnest." Our neighbor and the Chiefs' twins' future step-brother is in "Earnest." And another neighbor too. I can't believe I know so many talented young 'uns!!!!!
