New Orleans Bowl
I just wanted to say that I was impressed with the Cajun fans that made the Bowl Game. Classy people. This was my first trip to Lafayette, and you have a great looking campus. BTW, I had the best shrimp poor-boy ever at Olde Tyme Grocery. That place does the business.

Glad you had a great time in Lafayette. I saw on one website where the series between USM and UL will be resuming in 2008 at The Rock. I think the series has an opportunity to become an even better rivalry if both schools continue to keep winning.

Also, if you went to Old Tyme, you were only one block from my house.

IF/when C-USA expands UL would be my first choice to call conference brother. I look forward to the series continuing, and I will be back to visit Lafayette for sure. Great town and great people. Happy Holidays!

Some fans would love to be in CUSA for the exposure that it would give us for all sports. The move would help our football mostly, since our basketball team is usually good except this year so far, our softball team has been ranked and our baseball team is usually up there, or women's basketball had a great year last year and is starting off great this year. The move would definitely benefit our football more than anything else, and with our football team on the rise (I really like the Sun Belt) but moving to CUSA would probably be the best bet for us.
