This Is Odd… Three States Flip GOP Senate Seats to Democrats But Pass Voter ID Laws
Quote:As the dust settles on the 2026 midterm blue tsunami we are starting to get a larger look at these shocking results.
Obviously, it as a political massacre for the Republican Party in red state after red state. Yet, somehow voter ID laws passed in those same red states by enormous numbers.
Tanner Nau from National Review reported.
Eight states approved referenda targeting election security, a longtime focus of the Trump administration and Republicans in general — even while electing Democrats.
North Carolina and Ohio passed referenda amending their state constitutions to require photo ID to vote while electing Democrats statewide. Roy Cooper, the Democratic former governor, defeated Michael Whatley, the former chair of the Republican Party, handily, besting him by 19 points — the same margin by which the referendum passed. Democrats flipped five North Carolina House seats, with one more race yet to be called with a Democratic challenger in the lead.
In Ohio, former Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown beat incumbent Republican Jon Husted by just shy of five points. Republican Governor Mike DeWine appointed Husted in 2024 to fill the vacant seat left by now–Vice President JD Vance. The statewide photo ID referendum passed by 30 points. Nevada, which unseated its Republican governor on Tuesday, passed a constitutional amendment to enshrine photo identification to vote in person and require voters to provide the last four digits of their driver’s license number or Social Security number to vote by mail. It passed by nearly 25 points.
In addition to voter ID referenda, four states — Kansas, Arkansas, South Dakota, and Alaska — approved ballot measures to require proof of citizenship in order to cast a ballot.
Here is a look at these odd results.
It is clear that Democrat party elites want nothing to do with Voter ID or Citizenship rules to vote. This is similar to what they believe on open borders and unlimited illegal immigration into America.
So how do these five states explain these results on voter ID? How could they miss this? Democrats know they need the fake votes, illegal voters, world citizens, the dead, etc. to win elections. So why would these same states that were trounced on Tuesday night by Democrats also pass Voter ID laws?
RE: This Is Odd… Three States Flip GOP Senate Seats to Democrats But Pass Voter ID Laws
Election security is over 50% approval even among democrats. Even higher among Independents.
If it was on the ballot in California it would even pass there.
Voters were not upset over the SAVE act. Only the most hardcore dems were upset about that. This was referendum on Trump, not every single policy that republicans or even Trump supports.
RE: This Is Odd… Three States Flip GOP Senate Seats to Democrats But Pass Voter ID Laws
Democrats (those running the party) also know they need state ID laws to accuse Republicans of suppressing the vote. 2 years from now, no one will remember they passed these laws in a Blue Wave year. & just b/c they have these laws, doesn't mean they'll be enforced.

But they didn’t. More republicans voted in this midterm than 2022. The democrats just found 40% more voters (20 million more) than 2022. Interesting, huh?

Look at the Texas numbers. Trump got over 6 million votes in 2024. Abbott got 4.5million. Comparing this year to 4 years ago is the wrong way to look at it. Talefreako got more votes than Harris did two years ago.

yeah, I read some numbers and looked at the seeming impossibility of some of them. Of course, I knew there was going to be some cheating again and some illegals voting now that the left admits both actually happen regularly instead of their previous denials. Still, I can't find anyone, even moderate Republicans, who can tell me they actually switched and voted for Democrats in this election. I did ask a few who said they sat this one out. But only a few. When I went, the polling location had a LOT more people show up than the past few times, and I'm reasonably sure few of them were hardcore Democrats.
So, where di all these millions of extra democrats suddenly materialize from? There aren't enough swing voters to account for them. certainly some who voted Trump and rep in 2024 were upset and not so loyal to the long term cause and switched back to Dem, but what is very hard to believe is how many states had almost every county swing so far to Dem this election, even in deep red areas. You'd have expected some of that, but not virtually every single county in red states to do so.
I hate to say it, but I think it is possible that not passing the SAVE act and not enforcing election laws (QR codes again, GA?) opened up more potential fraud. It's just the Dems learned from the obvious errors they made last time and did it differently this time to hide it better? Unconstitutional by defying the GA Constitutional law once again. Thanks, RINOsberger and Kemp. Yes, I talked to several Texas voters who expressed disgust for Paxton. But when asked not one of them stated that he or she was voting Democrat instead. Several said they would sit the race out this time. So, okay, some reps sat out. But the numbers seem to show most did not. AND the numbers show a nearly impossible random number of new votes from Dems materialize where neither Cameltow*, Biden* or Obiossmal had them. Even Beto!* didn't come close.
So yeah, once again something is not right. Could it beeeee....Mail-In Ballots and illegals coupled with no real way to audit the election afterwords by looking at actual physical ballots instead of easy-to manipulate image files?

So, there's that...

I don't trust our elections anymore. Gutless Thune
Fixed
Translation: my side didn't win, so the election was rigged. I bet you had no issue with Trump's re-election.

No, 4 years ago is the comparison because more people always vote in the presidential cycle.
In 2022 Abbott got 4.4 million votes, Beto got 3.6. This year Abbott got 4.6, the dem got 5.3. So essentially 1.7 million dem votes just showed up with the Republican getting 5% more votes than 4 years ago. That over a 40% increase in dem votes. So of the 1.9 million in increased votes over 80% went Democrat. Really?
I’m not going down the how/why hole, just pointing out that it’s statistically unbelievable.
RE: This Is Odd… Three States Flip GOP Senate Seats to Democrats But Pass Voter ID Laws
Someone did a break down on the numbers in Texas voted. 31.7 million is the population. 19.04 million are registered. Close to 10 million voted. A lot of the voters are Republicans. A large block of registered Republicans voted all blue. Abbott did a pissed poor jub on the flood disaster that killed a lot of people and the ice storm that knocked out the power which relied only the state and no help from back up states. There are a lot of reasons why Republicans in the state of Texas to vote. Even we flipped 10 state seats to blue in Arkansas.
