I only know three straight white guys who are liberal.

One is a Yankee who has a disdain for anyone southern or rural. He's that stereotypical Yankee who looks down on others he feels arent as intelligent or sophisticated as he thinks he is. He's married to an ultra white liberal woman who works at a university.

One is a lazy miserable guy. ...Always whining about coworkers, bosses, etc. He's been married three times and I see instantly why the first two dumped his arse.

One is an elitist. He never shuts up and never listens to others. He too has an arrogance about him that is sickening. He has no awareness how much people dislike his personality and fake friendliness.

I never talk politics with them but they're friends on Facebook and I see their posts. Thankfully, I dont have to be around them much but they are employed by companies i work with.

I have dozens and dozens of straight male friends, colleagues, gym buds and coworkers and theyre all conservative or lean conservative. Altho i dont poll them and ask about their politics, they're mostly family men, employed and go to church and thru general chit chat, you can sense they're conservative.

Of the gay men i know from work experience, all were liberal and they love to let people know their politics.

I come across a lot of boomer white men who are liberal. Many of them are still living out the late 60s and 70s and their hatred for Reagan. I don’t think they are gay, but they do have a streak of toxic/suicidal empathy.

A few that are Gen X like me are really race-obsessed and still see thru the lens that Republicans are racists and Democrats are champions of black and brown people.
