I stated after the election, ol' boy had changed the game....the guy below could/would walk in w/o training wheels...it wouldn't matter if he ran 'phant or donk....just like the goons that thought DJT would run blue...I'm still laughing at that bs...

And why do you trust Mark Cuban?
for the same reason I trust DJT to execute federal/global macroeconomic policy coupled with centrist/conservative judicial appointments in the best interest of business and the middle class worker....I couldn't care less about anything else...
Cuban's a 21st century builder (with a twist) constructing a solid resume...he, like the rest, will have another 5.25 yrs. to study the methodology and how the GP continues to absorb DJT's tactics....
will he pull the trigger?
it would not surprise me if he does NOT choose that path....he may be having too much fun in his current capacity...who knows...
however, he's one of those alpha types that may choose that challenge later in life...
I'm just spit-balling in relative terms moving forward....regardless, I'll always pull for someone with the 'stones' that isn't afraid to combat both sides of the aisle and the journos....I see that same moxie in Cuban...
Trump, like Patton has a sense of destiny and mission. A Taine or Emerson would have called him "the man in the moment" or the mathematical counter balance for what is wrong with their time. I think Donald realized if not him then who? That's the mission. Cuban could take that reign but does he see himself as the man in the moment. Churchill did. T.R. did. Donald may be able to recognize and encourage that call in another. It is inherently absent and overlooked in politicians until the crisis finds the man. In the military it is much easier to find, at least before the nuclear age. The political hack generals always screw the pooch and the man with the guts and vision for victory emerges. Thank God in Germany's case Hitler cleared the thinkers and doers out of the way when they refused to cooperate with lunacy.
T.R. stumbled into it following an assassination. Churchill was toast after Gallipoli until Chamberlain's gutlessness bathed light upon Churchill's audacity. Patton's genius languished under politics and public opinion until his unmitigated success could not hold him back.
What these men had in common was the ability to recognize and reward similar courage in others and to not be deterred by the harbingers and harpies of pubic opinion shapers.
If Cuban is such a man then Trump needs to recognize that and begin to encourage him to pick up the mantle, shoulder the burden, and carry the torch for a new generation. And if not Cuban, he may already have identified another that is yet unveiled to the public. What we have to do Stink is to realize that when it happens it will be an almost spiritual answering of a call to redirect history out of an abyss.
The issue however is that humanity has an inherent mistrust of handpicked replacements. We tend to followup strong leadership with fools.
Civilizations fall not because they lack strength, but because they become paralyzed to act for fear of alienating their most prosperous in the process. The interests of powerful individuals frequently run counter to the well being of a nation. A called leader knows how and when to choose what is best for the nation in spite of threats and cries of the wealthy elite.
Henry Ford had to knuckle under for FDR. Edward had to abdicate because of Simpson's ties to Von Ribbentrop and his own Nazi leanings. The nation must come first. Anything less is the height of decadence and immorality and is usually the last mistake of a civilization for with it they lose the good will of their own people.
agree with all....the bold stands out...
fwiw, here's a snippet from Cuban back in May....
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/05/14/mark-cub...ndent.html
Quote:
Cuban tells CNBC he hasn’t ruled out an independent run for the White House in 2020.
He says some things would need to happen for him to be motivated to run.
When asked who on the Democratic side has the best chance of winning, Cuban said “nobody right now.”
Cuban says most of the Democratic proposals are just “headline porn.”
“I don’t think they believe what they’re proposing is passable,” he says.
it may not be '24 simply based on enjoying the current lifestyle he's accustomed to....however, I'm betting he makes that move one day for the same reasons DJT finally pulled the trigger...
We've got almost 6 years to get somebody ready to roll. It's going to be too important to drop the ball this time around!

Well, the only thing I see about Cuban is that he's used to money and you can be dang sure he doesn't want to lose any of it. So he'll be as conservative as maybe Trump but can be as liberal as Oblunder was. I think he's right in the middle and to me that's probably a good thing considering the Demoncraptic side who are so far left.

which I'm very comfortable with in any version of capitalism...if not for the robber barons, I could easily extrapolate with confidence the rate of building that occurred during that growth period gave us the global monetary advantage that we continue to enjoy to this day....
all the dems wanna do is grow and corral the herd by giving 'valued substance' away to preserve their 'value' at the throne...they couldn't care less about how the average joe ties it all together...

All this is just a work from the establishment which includes Trump. Trump is friends with the Clintons. If he was not? Bill and Killery would be behind bars by now. All this is a work by both parties to have us all fight with each other. both sides are nothing but sheep to all of this. Trump might have been an inside plant into the Republican party by the Clintons so that Hillary get elected. There have been bad blood between the Clintons and Obama. Hillary and her ilk planted the seeds on the birther movement that her friend Donald Trump tagged in to destroy him. The Republicans are afraid of both the Trump and the Clintons that they could lose. The same people from the 1970s on impeaching Nixon are in office today on the Republican side who are Trump allies worked with Hillary back then. That is why I still think Hillary is a Republican and I hated her big time.

This seems far-fetched - - but no worse than any other conspiracy theory that is presently being advanced. The advantage to this one is that it will soon be either proved or dispelled by events.
The Clinton involvement in all of these machinations will steadily become more and more apparent - - via the I.G. report, the ongoing Judicial Watch release of the FBI files and ultimately the Durham investigation. If the Clintons and their flunkies are nevertheless yet again let off the hook, it will be a pretty strong indication that the Trump administration is also compromised.
