Mad Maxine Has Received "Death Threats"
I don't want any of our congressmen and women receiving threats of physical harm but this is what happens when you stir crap up - IF valid and not an exaggeration from that woman from Kalifornia. Of course, she blames the POTUS. Maybe this will finally shut her pie hole about harassing people. If it doesn't, then shame on her.
Quote:Rep. Maxine Waters stirred up a lot of controversy last week when she called on people to confront Trump administration officials whenever they are out in public. Now the California Democrat reportedly has canceled events in Texas and Alabama because of a "serious death threat" made against her.
CNN reported Thursday that Waters said in a statement that after Trump took aim at her on Twitter: "Even more individuals are leaving threatening messages and sending hostile mail to my office."
"There was one very serious death threat made against me on Monday from an individual in Texas which is why my planned speaking engagements in Texas and Alabama were cancelled this weekend," Waters said in the statement.
"This is just one in several very serious threats the United States Capitol Police are investigating in which individuals threatened to shoot, lynch, or cause me serious bodily harm," the statement added.
NPR hasn't independently confirmed the statement.
While details of the Texas event were not immediately known, Waters had been scheduled to speak Friday at the annual legislative conference of the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women in Birmingham, Ala. The event was billed as "NOBEL Women Presents A Moment with Maxine."
The organization's president, Karen Camper, told the Alabama news website AL.com that Waters had canceled her appearance because of security concerns.

Lock 'em up!
And maybe she has learned a lesson. What comes around, goes around. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Probably false flagged herself in attempt to take the heat off for telling her supporters to illegally harass Trump administrators.

RE: Mad Maxine Has Received "Death Threats"
Of course, a GOP Rep. disavows. How 'bout Mad Max?
Quote:Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) on Friday defended Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) after she cancelled a pair of speaking events over threats made against her life after she called for public confrontations of Trump administration officials.
Hensarling, chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, and Waters, the panel’s ranking member, often spar over President Trump’s policies and financial regulatory issues in committee hearings.
But the staunchly conservative Hensarling said in a Friday statement, “It is intolerable that any American, including elected officials, should ever be harassed, intimidated or threatened for their political views — no matter how distasteful some may find them.”
“A free and democratic society cannot long remain so without a free exchange of political ideas,” Hensarling said. “I disagree with almost everything Congresswoman Waters says, but she deserves the opportunity to be heard in safety and security.”

While I don't wish for any actual harm to befall her it could be entertaining to watch her squirm for a bit. Dem chickens be coming home to roost.

It's even in that very same article:
Quote:Trump publicly criticized Waters during campaign rallies this week, and inaccurately claimed in a tweet that the Democrat called for harm to his supporters. Lawmakers from both parties, including Hensarling, criticized her comments and called for civility among political rivals.
Hensarling scolded Waters at the start of a Financial Services panel hearing Wednesday, invoking the shooting of Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.) last year.
“We all know that words matter. I know that Steve Scalise believes this, and if you listened to him yesterday, you will know passionately he does,” Hensarling said.
Hensarling also compared Waters’s comments to the historic racial segregation of blacks from restaurants.

The issues with these career Republican Politicians are the same laws that trump is passing. These have been failed policies in the past.
