Winston Suspended


I would love it for life. This guy can't keep his hands and his pecker off of women.

It's racist to suspend Jamies Winston in 3................ 2......................1..................

3 whole games. Wow.

And they do wonder why the police officers arrest people like Winston for these crimes?

What did he do exactly? And what was the evidence? Haven't been following, but "sexual assault" can be anything from touching a thigh to full blown forcible rape.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston has been suspended for the first three games of the regular season for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy.

Winston says in a statement released on Facebook that the NFL informed him of their decision on Thursday.

Winston says that "in the past 2½ years my life has been filled with experiences, opportunities and events that have helped me grow, mature and learn." Winston added that he has eliminated alcohol from his life.

Winston, the first pick in the 2015 draft, has started 45 of the Bucs' past 48 games. He missed three games last season with a shoulder injury.

He will miss the Bucs' games against New Orleans, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and will return Sept. 30 for a game at Chicago.

NFL live said that it stemmed from him being accused by the UBER driver.

Winston issued an apology after the suspension on his Twitter account, and did mentioned the Uber driver. He said he was sorry for what he did to the Uber driver.

Yeah, I agree. And as a Bucs fan, I don't like to accept that either - but it is true.

I still think he is the QB of the future for the Bucs though - one more screw up though and then the Bucs will be looking for his replacement.

Supposedly, the Bucs ownership is still firmly in his corner.

As a player, he's one of the scrappiest big QBs I've ever seen. Mentally pretty resilient as well.

I agree, and I am still in his corner. I don't think he is entirely innocent - but not guilty either.

Might have been a sexual tryst that didn't go the way either wanted and once again, a he said, she said.

Look at the Duke Lacrosse case for an extreme example....
