As for what he did actually say, acknowledging our faults and mistakes like an adult, I'm sure deriding our allies on twitter for having the gall to point literal fake news circulated by fringe right-wing xenophobes is more effective at strengthening our relationships. But please, ignore all of the evidence showing our international reputation plummeting, and keep repeating things that you have no evidence for to justify Trumps objectively poor behavior.
