ACU ( by a lot) UWG (EKU looks pretty bad this year and UWG is suprisingly decent) UCA ( I think UCA will Pee all over Peay in this one) UT Martin ( I guess becuase I have little faith in UNA this year from what I have seen) SUU ( I know UC Davis is good, but I think SUU rides the wave of momentum they have for this one, they are not slouches) NAU ( NAU looks to be a very competitive team, UTU does not) RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - EKUSteve - 09-10-2024 07:11 AM We'll find out this week if EKU will be competitive in conference. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - Outsider - 09-10-2024 07:31 AM Looks like some good football... RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - Spolovilo4EVER - 09-10-2024 12:41 PM Ranking the games by excitment level this week..... 1. UWG @ EKU is the most interesting game this week. Will the noob come in and beat the well established home team? Is UWG really pretty good? is EKU really that bad? get the popcorn ready for this one.! I am guessing UWG will win by double digits but I am not overly confident in that prediction. 2. UC Davis @ SUU Looks to be a very good game. UCD will be favored but SUU just might have "sumpin fo thay punk..." I expect a very close game that could go either way. 3. APSU @ UCA We know UCA is the better team and should win this one fairly easily, but just how good, or bad is APSU this year??? inquiring minds want to know! 4. NAU @ UTU To be fair to UTU they have been bullied by 2 very good teams and now they have a chance to play someone closer to their level, but NAU looks to be another good team and UTU has shown no signs of being remotely competitive so far so expecting NAU to win by 10-15 points. 5. UNA @ UTM I really just do not know what to expect of this game so I am putting it here. I know nothing of UTM but I do not have much confidence in UNA so I am picking the home team. 6. ACU @ UNC If it were the UNC in Chapel Hill this would be an exciting match up, but it is in Greely, Colorado so I expect the Wildcats to wipe the floor with the Bears, this one should be over by the 2nd quarter. I am expecting a big route by ACU in this one. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - RCI - 09-11-2024 08:10 PM We hope to win without injuries against UNC. And Tarleton taking a breather sounds like a good timing with your QB's hand or wrist. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - RCI - 09-14-2024 07:09 PM ACU played like it was asleep and only won due to a 54 yard FG as time expired. Thank goodness for the thin air in Colorado. Lots of relieved but stunned Wildcats. We shot ourselves in the foot over and over. It was a very strange game and there was a lot of "homer" officiating, but UNC played hard and ACU was lucky to pull out a win. Might have overlooked NC and was focused on next week’s opponent, top ten Idaho. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - Spolovilo4EVER - 09-15-2024 01:15 AM What happened to ACU? I watched about half of the game and it was pretty boring. I was expecting some fireworks from the cats. If the team that played against UNC shows up they will get vandalized next week. If the team that played Tech shows up they have a good chance at a win. EKU suprised me, but everyone else pretty much performed as expected, except ACU who woefully underperformed. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - RCI - 09-15-2024 03:07 PM Most of us are puzzled with ACU. When we open up the offense, things go very well, but then we slow down and run right into the strength of the defense's line over and over. It is a puzzle to most of us. Against UNC, with Taylor double covered, we did not try very hard to take advantage of it -- but of course very uncharacteristically we start the game dropping pass after pass even though they were right into our hands. Puzzling. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #3 - Outsider - 09-16-2024 02:52 PM The UAC continues to have 3 teams in the top 25. I wonder is SUU sneaks in there eventually. That's two games in a row that he failed to adjust to the opponent for large stretches of the game. He better do better this Saturday... |
