Can't wait to see you guys beating up on McNeese! RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - Outsider - 08-23-2024 12:01 PM The UNA game will be interesting as well. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - wewererebels - 08-23-2024 01:43 PM I'm not sure why (and not curious enough to really delve into it), but after decades of dominating the SLC, McNeese has fallen on hard times. Here's hoping the Texans open a can of "whup ass" on them! Here's hoping the Texans open a can of "whup ass" on them! I’m sure there are multiple reasons for the football program decline, but a fact given by the Tarleton women’s soccer announcer, Hurricane Laura in 2020 did at least $100 million in damage to the campus. 2020 was also in the middle of the Covid crisis so bad events on top of bad events. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - Itinerant Texan - 08-24-2024 01:39 PM The Rivalry of all Rivalries ![]() https://x.com/txfblife/status/1827402147098718624 RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - Oscar P - 08-24-2024 01:40 PM Well here we go. Can the 56 transfers of McNeese come together in week 0? Can Tarleton not throw the ball to the other team 2-3 times? If the answer is no to both, then Tarleton wins by 3 or more scores. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - RCI - 08-24-2024 02:21 PM 10 minutes away from a nationwide broadcast of Tarleton drubbing of McNeese. Time put the old SLC on the bottom shelf. BTW, what is that big tower crane in the background of the stadium building? Time put the old SLC on the bottom shelf. Medical Building. PA Degree, and PHD in Physical Therapy maybe. And I’m sure some other classes. There’s also two cranes south of the stadium for the new arena which is coming along quickly. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - Oscar P - 08-24-2024 03:22 PM Run the ball and we win going away. We won’t do that. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - EatEmUp11 - 08-24-2024 04:47 PM Wh RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - Oscar P - 08-24-2024 04:50 PM Tarleton goofing around playing backups. WTF. This game is not out of reach! Step on their throats and end it. Whitten will cost us this game. Just watch. It’s happened before. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - RCI - 08-24-2024 05:04 PM (08-24-2024 01:39 PM)Itinerant Texan Wrote: The Rivalry of all Rivalries An amazing story I had not heard before. Glad there were no deaths or serious injuries, The story reminds me of when I was in grade school and would go to ACU games with an older brother. In those days, the bonfire site was guarded 24/7, but another school in Abilene (McMurry) was called Indians back then. I remember a very scary night when flaming arrows came raining down, shot by McMurry Indians at the ACU unlit bonfire. Soon after that, the bonfire tradition was ended. Those arrows came down on people guarding the site. Of course the A&M bonfire that collapsed killing 12 and injuring 27 people was the most tragic of Texas bonfire stories. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - Oscar P - 08-24-2024 05:12 PM I’m here live. Guess Gabalis got hurt at the end of the half. Didn’t see it. Pete was horrible in the Spring game. This is not good. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - Oscar P - 08-24-2024 05:18 PM Greek is warming up. Guess we’ll see him next series. Maybe it’s not too bad. RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - EatEmUp11 - 08-24-2024 05:24 PM Where’s the crowd RE: UAC FOOTBALL WEEK #0 - wisdomgymrat - 08-24-2024 05:56 PM Hot AF and everyone never left the tailgate. Same ole crappy passing offense. Run game is the only positive this game. |
