I’ve never met her and have no idea what she’s really like when she’s in a non-public setting. But I get the sense she has autism or similar condition. I think she’s been manipulated by her parents into being an “activist” and doesn’t really know/understand how she comes across in media.

If that girl was my daughter I'd send her to her room everytime she got into this fits. She's not normal, she has a lot of hate and what she's trying to accomplish will never see fruition.

I'd modify that to say that he often doesn't articulate his thoughts very well. There are times he comes across as quite erudite, not many perhaps, but there are times.

I think he does ok when discussing policies and proposals. He gets hinky when he is trying to appeal to the masses at his rallies by cracking jokes and employing hyperbolic rhetoric.

And if you’ll permit me two further refinements: Donald Trump lets himself (and all of us) down when he thinks he can just wing it - - coming up short on both the preparation and self-control:

—> Donald Trump is plenty smart, but he is like the entitled student who could easily Ace every exam if he would just put in ten minutes of study, but instead decides it’s not worth it and settles for the C+. That was my younger brother growing up. It drove my parents crazy. When he puts in the effort, Donald Trump can hang with anyone on a policy level. It’s a crapshoot whether he’ll choose to put in the effort.

—> Donald Trump also still has to learn to control himself. He’s made great strides in this department, but still has a ways to go. It is why the cut mics during the Biden-Trump debate were so critically helpful. Donald Trump wanted so badly to cut off the overmatched Joe Biden, but thankfully was prevented from doing so. Kamala will be even more of a challenge, mostly because her meaningless thoughts at least come out in full sentences.

The person that I feel most sympathy for is whoever gets to play the role of Kamala in the debate. Perhaps they need to hire the Kamala impersonator and just feed her some ridiculously over-the-top lines, just to condition Donald to not totally lose it on every stupid statement offered up by Kamala.
