NCAA Tournament Thread - BearcatMan - 03-13-2023 09:44 AM

I get that we aren't in it, but I still feel that we need a discussion thread for it.

My one bit of advice as a guy who has kind of been assimilated into MAC viewership based on my employer...Kent State is a VERY good team, and I would not be surprised in the least if they beat Indiana.

RE: NCAA Tournament Thread - BearcatDave - 03-13-2023 10:13 AM

Dont know alot about Kent State. Good to see Oral Roberts in is. .I was wishing they would meet up with Colgate for obvious reasons of oral hygiene.

RE: NCAA Tournament Thread - Bear Catlett - 03-13-2023 12:33 PM

I concur that Kent St. is a very good team too. It has... yes, a local guy ... Jalen Sullinger (yes, THOSE Sullingers) who I thought was going to be too small to play D1 but he's quicker than crap and shoots a good 3 ball. Wish we had him.

I'll go ahead and plug our other local guy Tyrese Huey for Furman against Virginia... which I think is another definite upset possibility.

Does anyone have Houston winning it all? We knew they have weaknesses..
None the less i picked them. You can thank me appropriately for jinxing them

Huggs with his usual cup of coffee short stay in the tourney.

Does he retire now?

I did an underdog single unit straight bet strategy for this year...one unit on the ML for every 12, 13, 14, and 15 seed to win, so I am very happy with how this early afternoon has gone so far lol.

Down goes Arizona!

RE: NCAA Tournament Thread - skyblade - 03-16-2023 05:22 PM

Down goes Arizona and down go most brackets.

They were unstoppable when we played them. Couldn't score against Princeton. Incredible.

Honorary Bearcat Caden Pierce sealing the game.

Love picking Arizona to win it all. Smart man

RE: NCAA Tournament Thread - Bear Catlett - 03-16-2023 08:16 PM

Not that the blowhards on the AAC board would realize it, but I don't think that they've grasped that they now have to play Auburn... in Birmingham.

Announcers at the Houston game just revised history claiming that NKU beat us on our home court this year.

"The announcers"?

Do people not know who Jim Nantz is?

(thought technically that WAS UC's home floor once)
