Ok, late start to this, but Taylor Pendrith is in a weird position today, tied for 5th and completely done waiting for others to finish the 4th round at Pebble Beach. He is three strokes behind Rose who has 8 holes to play. There is a slight chance of a playoff if the course plays really rough today - though the wind speeds are low and that is unlikely.

Corey Conners goes into the final round of the Valero Open in solo 2nd, 1 shot off the leader. He led after the first round, but fell back after a mediocre second round (include a 4 putt, which I can say I am very good at doing). He recovered today with a very good 69 and stands in a good position to get his 2nd PGA Tour win.

Valero was one of Ben Curtis's wins as well. Great for Conners. Now, Hughes, Conners and Curtis are all multi-time PGA winners.

A bit late but both Conners and Mac Hughes were in the Masters last weekend. Corey missed the cut, but Mac played the weekend shooting a very respectable +1 for the week. He finished tied for 29th and earned $125,000.

It's Mac Hughes week at the AT&T Byron Nelson down in McKinney Texas. Shoots 65-64 the first two rounds, tied for 2nd one shot back of Scottie Scheffler. He'll be in the last group tomorrow with Scheffler and Ryan Palmer. Go Flashes.
