recommends that 25% of teams should go to the NCAA tournament. This would mean about 90 teams (96 would work better). I would hate to see this watering down of the tournament. Almost as bad as the World Cup going from 32 teams to 48 teams. It should mean something to make the World Cup and I feel the same way about the NCAA tournament.
