The NCAA Transfer Portal opens Dec. 5. One player who I would be very surprised if he doesn't enter the portal is CMU QB Daniel Richardson.

The qb situation was handled so poorly I could see all of them leaving especially with no announcement of petrino being fired

I’d be ok with DR moving on. I’d like to see Emanuel and Bauer battle it out in camp for the starting spot. I could see it going either way. Whichever one develops their passing game the best would
be my guess. We know they both can run.

Bert Emanuel Jr. is likely CMU's QB moving forward, but yes, you never know what other circumstances could motivate a player to enter the portal.

I'll always be grateful for the way he led the team last year. The second half of the season and bowl win in 2021 was special and fun to watch.
But the writing was on the wall. The results just were not there this year. And there is good talent ready to step in and lead this team next year.

Considering one of his family members was liking comments on CM Life about there needing to be a coaching change, I wouldn’t expect him back.

Wasn't he injured most of last year? I thought Hedman played at his position more than him it seemed? Maybe he thought he wasn't going to get the starting job?
