How many games do yall think PEA and his asst. NUTS will BLOW this year?

I say we'll end up @ 7-5 and hoping for a bowl berth. Had Bama not been on probation we wouldn't have gotten the Indy this year...

- 10MAN - 02-15-2003 06:52 PM

Good call, Nut, I think 14-0 sounds about right to me, too!!! It's about time you came around to the Island. 04-cheers

- GDawgs88 - 02-16-2003 12:10 AM

I like Ole Miss so i'll say you guys go 12-2 with losses to Georgia in the regular season and in the SEC championship game.

- 10MAN - 02-16-2003 01:32 AM

GDawgs, I was being sarcastically facetious to our village idiot, one Coach Peanut, but I like your prediction, nonetheless.

Actually, we don't play UGA in the regular season next Fall, but I like your enthusiasm. We dropped UGA and picked up SCarolina, pretty good deal for us, if you ask me, and in Oxford, too. I'm kind of tired of getting beat by you guys, to be honest, especially now that y'all are the SEC champs and show no signs of diminishing. So yes, we'll take South Carolina, in lieu of the real Dawgs anyday.

Does this mean you'll be recanting your 12-2 prediction to a 13-1 record for the Rebs now????? 04-bow 04-bow

- joebordenrebel - 02-16-2003 11:28 AM

I figure he'll blow about as many as he did last year but still manage to take us to that storied "seven win" tier. Just another year for the staus quo in Oxford.

I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am. Dave has got to lose the xanex. :bang:

Don't you mean Xanax?

He's got to get some treatment!

03-razz

- joebordenrebel - 02-16-2003 01:49 PM

Xanax, xanex, prozac, ritalin, whatever in the hell it is, I wish he would put it down! :D

So typical for him to give us possbily the biggest upset in the history of VH stadium, a win against heavily favored Nebraska and yet SUCK versus LSWho, Texas Tech, Auburn, Arkansas and Georgia (we just got the sh#t beat out of us by Bama, as usual).

Could he be the MOST bi-polar head coach in 1A? :bang:

- WizardRebel - 02-16-2003 02:14 PM

I've got to kinda stick up for him for a sec here though. After talking with him Wednesday night, you can really tell that Ole Miss is where he wants to be and he is very enthusiastic about it. He doesn't yell and scream on the sidelines, but his attitude makes up for it. He says that anyone who doesn't work hard, will not play. He and Pete Boone are also VERY confident that the indoor practice facility are going to help us turn the corner finally. Yeah, I'd like to see him get a bit more excited on the sidelines, but he's just mild mannered. He was really fired up during the Auburn game if y'all remember. I saw him down there screaming at Marcus Johnson after one series.

WR

- LRRebel - 02-16-2003 08:46 PM

Yeah, you know Johnny Vaught was mild-mannered and didn't raise much hell on the sidelines, either. I have a feeling tho, that you didn't slack off around him either.

Cutt impressed me by staying when he could've gotten out of dodge, and the way that he's still working on beefing up the coaching staff. But - he must produce THIS YEAR. Or I'll be back 'off the wagon'. There's no reason in the world they shouldn't improve on 6 losses, all considered.

If I'm not mistaken, it should be an SEC west team to replace us on the Georgia schedule next year. Not sure who it is, but look on your 2003 schedule and if there is an SEC west team on there that you haven't played in a long time, that's the Ole Miss replacement.

And I know what you're talking about with those GaTechie fans, especially Swagger, he is the worst!!!! 03-lol 03-lol 03-lol

- REBstill - 02-17-2003 09:47 AM

I'll swap for his Ga. Tech fans with some of the "goobers" we have to put up with, year after year. (Now who could I be talking about?)

Ahhh, so the Swamprats of LA get to be thumped in place of the Rebels. I can't say I feel sorry for them. 03-wink

It has to be LSU that is replacing the Rebs on your schedule, GDawgs. I did some research and UGA had a brief home and home with LSU in '98 and '99, but before that you haven't played them in the regular season since '92.

Enjoy whoopin up on the bayou kitties. We'll be watching and enjoying!! :D

Thanks alot 10Man but to be honest i'm scared to death of that game at LSU.

- cant_think_of_a_witty_nam - 02-17-2003 01:20 PM

If it's one of those rare morning games in the Bayou, you have nothing to worry about. They'll still be all tuckered out from headbutting alligators the night before. :D

Aww, don't worry too much. We've pretty much owned them the last 6 years, for the most part, and y'all have owned us in that time. They talk alot more than they walk!

And witty's right, if it is a morning game, half of 'em won't even be there until mid-way thru the second quarter. Then when they walk in and see the scoreboard read, "UGA- 28 LSU-3", they will tuck tail and turn around and go home and go back to bed! :D
